Maundy Thursday service attacked in Mangalore


A Catholic woman was wounded when some unidentified people tried to disrupt a Maundy Thursday service in Mangalore, southern India. A large number of parishioners were present at St Sebastian Church when the incident occurred at 8:30 p.m. on April 5.

A group of miscreants threw stones from outside the church campus near Bendorewell circle.One of the stones hit a parishioner, Claret Pinto, 46, who was hospitalized with head injuries.  read more »
