The Justice Somashekhara Commission, probing into the attacks on churches in the State, has completed its inquiry and has decided to submit its report to the Government on January 28.

The Commission was set up in September 2008, following attacks on churches in Dakshina Kannada and other districts. The inquiry Commission’s term was extended thrice.
The Commission had submitted its interim report in February 2010. The interim report recorded impressions it received from various witnesses who appeared before it.
