The number of children in a majority of the schools in Harapanahalli taluk has dwindled signific­antly as students are being increasingly employed by the seed production centres that are mushrooming there.According to a survey conducted by Don Bosco Mission, a non-governmental organization, more than 3,000 children are engaged in seed production units in Harapanahalli taluk alone.
