Bajranga Dal Activists Get 4 Believers Arrested and Imprisoned in Shimoga
Basavanagudi, Shimoga: The 53 year old Elder of the Immanuel Church at Basavanagudi in Shimoga, Smt. Kamalamma, wife of Sri. Danappa-60, went for a prayer on Sunday 5-12-2010, morning, at a believer’s house at Gonikoppa, 7 Kms away from Shimoga. She was accompanied by her three children, the two married daughters, Choudamma - 35, Parvathi - 32 and the son, Chandru-28, all daily wage earners and also evangelists. Just as they began their prayer, a group of about 25 Bajranga Dal activists pounced upon them and began abusing them and then dragged them to the Vinobanagara Police Station for their alleged attempt of trying for conversion.  read more »
