Justice Somashekar Probe panel ,probing attacks against churches term extended

Bangalore, December 5

Karnataka State Government has extended the term of the Justice B K Somashekhar Commission up to December 31, this year. The commission is probing into attacks on Churches in Dakshina Kannada and other districts of the State.It was set up in September 2008. For the third time the term of the commission has been extended. The committee submitted its interim report in February, 2010. The government has asked the commission to submit the report by December 31.
