Kashmir Muslim separatists burnt schools and damage proprties of Christians

Last night at 7.30, an angry mob set fire to the Good Shepherd School in Pulwama in response to the attempt the alleged attempt to burn Koran. Unlike yesterday morning with the Protestant school, this time the police intervened in force, reducing damage to the prestigious institution.  read more »

World over Christians challenges world leaders and global media to focus on Christian persecution

The head of the world’s largest evangelical body said Friday that he welcomed the unanimous condemnation of one church’s plan to burn copies of the Quran but challenged world leaders and the media to do the same for radical actions committed against Christians.
“Speaking out strongly against the proposed burning of Korans was the right thing to do and we warmly welcome the unanimous condemnation from politicians, religious leaders and the global media in this case,” expressed Dr. Geoff Tunnicliffe, international director of the World Evangelical Alliance.
“As we consider the outcry against this one small, obscure group, we now plead that the world’s leaders and media demonstrate the same kind of outspoken condemnation when radical actions on an equal or larger scale are committed against Christians.”  read more »

GCIC condemns Quran burning and appeals to Pastor Jones to spread the love of Christ on 9/11

New Delhi: Global council of Indian Christians(GCIC)today condemned the plan by the pastor of a small Florida church to burn copies of the Quran
to mark the 9/11 attacks and called on US authorities to take 'strong action' to prevent such an 'outrage' being committed.And protect the christians and other non Muslims facing persecution ,attacks and similar mindless actions against scriptures

GCIC while deploring Pastor Terry Jones's move to burn copies of Islam's holiest text on September 11 also urged the members of Muslim community and Indian media to exercise 'great restraint to help maintain peace and harmony.  read more »

Madhya Pradesh Christians seek protection-thretened to blow up church 9/11 Koran burning
