The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), a member of the Sangh parivar led by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), seems to have lost faith in its saffron sibling BJP's political power. Its central secretary Vyankatesh Apdev announced here on Thursday that they would now approach Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi to seek their cooperation in bringing about a legislation that could help complete construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya at the disputed site.  read more »
