Gunmen have opened fire on a church service in Nigeria, killing six people and wounding 10 in the latest attacks that have raised fears of sectarian conflict in Africa's most populous nation.

The attack occurred in Nasarawa, Gombe in northern Nigeria just days after at least two bomb blasts shook the town of Maiduguri and a gun battle in another town killed at least one civilian.  read more »
