On May 23, two miscreants entered the compound of Holy Family Church at 8.30 P.M. when the church guard was away for a short period. During this time they carried petrol and some material and threw on the church sanctuary gate which later burnt out and the fire was about to damage inside the church but in the mean while the guard appeared and controlled the fire from further damage to the building.  read more »

Yesterday(28th Jan) around 2.30 p.m someone came in the Church Holy Family Catholic church campus and burnt the moter cycle of the Parish Priest, which was parked in the varanda of priest' house.Holy family catholic church srinagar,
a church located at kasmir,in a muslim oriented state,with limited number of christian members.A church started in 1893 is still running with the grace of god.
