Cardinal Oswald Gracias has been elected as the secretary general of the Federation of Asian Bishops’ Conference (FABC).He was elected to the post by the presidents of the FABC in its central committee meeting on October 21 in Bangkok.The cardinal, who is also the president of Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India, has been appointed with effect from January 1, 2012.  read more »
