GCIC team visited Pastors in Jail
A team of 4 members from kerala(Brethren assembly) has came to Karimnagar district to preach Gospel, along with them,other 4 members 1).R.Ephraim(Malyal), 2)M.Premanandam(Medipelly),3)P.Kalebu(Gangadhara),4)K.Gideon(Gopalraopet) has come to support them.
They went to Donoor (village),Dharmapuri(mdl),to preach the gospel with the permission from Superintindent of Police(Karimnagar). in that village 2 or 3 places they faced opposition from local people.so they started to leave that place, at that point of time , RSS and BJP people surrounded them and made a complaint to police station. read more »

On 4th August 2011, in Ramagundam a team of 5 Christians went for gospel work. One of the team members is writing verses like Jesus Saves etc., on Walls. At 4 p.m. they were writing on a big rock which is adjacent to a temple. The temple is not noticed by the team and totally not aware of the location as they are from Kakinada of East Godavari district. At that time the local RSS persons and other Anti Christian people came and abused them. They took the cell phones of the members and beat them very harshly. The mob asked the team members to clean the writing on the rock. The team members did the same. They man-handled even an on looker who is reading the verses written on the rock. They informed the police and police came and took the team members to the police station.
The team members told that Pastor Isaiah of Elakala palli gate colony of Godavari Khani has invited them from Kakinada. The sub inspector of police Mr. Srinivas Reddy (Ramagundam P.S.) summoned Pastor Isaiah also to the station. Along with the team members pastor Isaiah was kept in lockup. Totally 7 members ( 5 team members, one pastor one onlooker) were kept in lockup. F.I.R. was issued under section 153 A,143 r/w 149 of IPC which is a non bailable offence. After that Ramagundam pastors’ fellowship approached the police. The police officials told them to come next day morning as SI was not available. But already FIR had been issued. read more »

Four Hindu radicals accused him of forcible conversions. For Sajan K George, president of the Global Council of Indian Christians (GCIC), the attack is a "crying shame" for a secular state like India. Even in Karnataka and Orissa there is no peace for Christians. read more »
