Bhawanipatna (Orissa), June 19 (PTI) 15 mentally challenged persons, kept under confinement with their legs chained, were today rescued from the clutches of a self-styled godman who claimed to cure psychiatric patients in Kalahandi district, official sources said.The godman, identified as Sridas from Kerala, was arrested here after a search operation at Baba's residence revealed the plight of the victims, they said.  read more »
