Mayurbhanj (Orissa): The Rasgobindapur police of Mayurbhanj District in Orissa have filed an FIR against two pastors and 16 believers falsely implicating them in a case of violating section 4 of Orissa Freedom of Religion Act, 1997, (OFRA ACT of 1997), on the complaints lodged by the State BJP Vice-President, Mr. Raj Kishore Das and the State BJP Farmers Morcha Vice- President, Mr. Prabir Kumar Ghose, at the behest of the VHP activists. The incident starts from 20th of March, 2011, when Bengal Odisha Bihar Christian Association of Balasore, (BOBCA), took some of their new tribal converts to West Bengal from a few villages of Mayurbhanj District and got them baptized by Pastor Manuel Mohapatra in a Church there.  read more »
