Worship service stopped Pastor Manjunath and believers detained in Hulimavu police station-Bangalore

Bangalore: Karnataka police on June 5th disrupted the Sunday worship service based on the accusation of “forced” conversion against Pastor Manjunath Venketappa Naik in Doddama Layout, Hulimavu village,Anaekal-Bangalore, Karnataka.

The police personnel barged into the house church of IPC Ministry and stopped the worship service based on the accusation of the local people against Pastor Manjunath V Naik of forcible conversion. The police Sub Inspector Nagaraja and four others from Hulimavu police police station stopped a worship service at about 10am today morning and detained Pastor Manjunath .Half an hour later the same police team, arrived at the house church and took Pastor's wife Mamtha(24) and their children James(7),Aksha(5) and 3 and half year old Joshua along with six ladybelieversAsha,Jaya,Anta ,Shanti,Pushpa and Arogya Mary were taken to Hulimavu police station for questioning.Global Council of Indian Christians(GCIC) is in touch with the authorities for immediate release of the innocent victims
