Bhander Datia Dt. (Madhya Pradesh) -23rd Aug.2011: What we hear is indeed very tragic that the RSS in M.P. has gone to the extent of using the very teachers of Govt. Schools to spread indiscipline among the students in the class rooms of schools run by the Christian missionaries in the state. One classic example is what is happening in Nayajeevan Mission School in Bhander Datia District of Madhya Pradesh.

This school has been functioning without any problems during the last 12 years, and the children are being given standard education, which perhaps is not being appreciated by teachers associated with the govt. schools who are also active members of RSS. The real problem for the RSS is that a missionary, Rev S. Christopher belonging to the Friends Missionary Prayer Band, is running this particular school.
The actual problem we understand, started sometime in August, in the year 2009, when the RSS activists began making a false allegation against the school saying that they did not hoist the National Flag. But then it was proved to be wrong after a long inquiry by the very District Collector of the Bhander Datia District.
Unsatisfied with the outcome of that inquiry, this time the same RSS activists hit upon another novel idea, but certainly disgusting one, to take revenge against the missionary school. The people involved in this dirty work, we learn, are Prateep Tripati, Jayaveer Sirotiya, Karish Narayan Kourav,and Chakilal Razak,Mahesh Talagayya, all RSS activists working as teachers in different Gov.Schools in the district. The method they adopted was to brainwash the students of the Mission School who regularly attend the RSS Shakha Meetings in the evenings, to create problems in the class rooms and the school. This continued for more than a week and the teachers were bewildered by this unruly behavior of certain students apparently for no specific reason, and they complained about this to the head of the school, Rev. Christopher. When Rev. Christopher realized what exactly was happening, he informed the parents of some of these students, who unfortunately did not care to response.
On 17th of this month during the morning prayer- meeting, we understand, that 3 of the students whose parents were informed about their misbehavior in the school, began making terrible noise and disturb the entire prayer meeting. The head of the school clearly saw what was happening and sent for those students to come to his office and after questioning them for some time he caned them and suspended them for 15 days.
The suspended students went to the local police station sometime in the evening and lodged a complaint against the head of the school, Rev. Christopher. On 18th morning, Rev. Christopher went to the Bhander Police Station and spent the whole day till 6:00 in the evening and came out only after getting the necessary bail from the District Court.
On Sunday evening Rev. Christopher called for a Parents Teachers Meeting which was attended by about 60 parents, including the parents of the children who were involved in the case. Rev. Christopher gave a clear picture of the whole incident to the parents who, we understand, felt very sad about the whole development, and all the other parents unanimously decided and advised the Principal that those 3 boys should be issued their TCs and they could pursue their studies in the schools of their choice and liking.
But the Rev. Christopher, however, told them that they don’t want to discourage any of their students and that if they gave letters of apology really feeling sorry for what they had done they could continue their studies in their school. We also understand that the Principal was forced to punish those boys, that too with a mild caning with only one caning, only when they persisted on their RSS tutoring and the false allegation that the school doesn’t encourage the slogan “Bharat Matha Ki Jai.” Well, things are becoming more and more clear with the passage of time in the states where the governments are being run by the saffron brigades.
