Pastor Hanoch Mahadev Inachi along with Sister Thara and Sister Gowary was taken under police custody on 19.08.10 at 8.pm from Dowleswaram Village, Mudhol Talik , Bagalkot.
Both the sisters belong to the youth with a mission (YWAM, Ghataprabha)
Pastor Enoch belong to the Living Water Full Gospel Church and he is pasturing New Apostolic Church in Dowleswaram. This church was established about 10 years ago and has about 25 believers.

Thara and Sister Gowary was invited by Pastor Enoch to Dowleswaram to show Jesus Filim to the believers. While the show was on, a group of about 50 people belonging to Bajarang Dal and RSS lead by their local leaders disrupted the film show and accused the pastor and sisters of forcefully converting people. They also damaged the projector. The Group then informed Mahalingpur police station. A jeep full of police men arrived at the station and taken the 2 ladies and pastor the police station.
The ladies were let off at 10.00 in the night after the intervention of GCIC.
The pastor is detained in the police station for the full night. The police might file an FIR on 20th August 2010.

Update
Pastor was let off at 10.00 am next morning after obtaining an undertaking that he will not conduct prayer meeting in the village.
