On 9th January 2012 at about 2 AM, a group of Police from Raikia police station reached at the house of Pastor Sukadeb Digal(33) at Sipainju(Sipainjari) village, Tiangia, G- Udayagiri Block, Kandhamal Dist. of Odisha and arrested him from his house on false charges of illegal conversion. The police have kept him in Raikia PS up till now and interrogating him while investigating into the matter. He is pastoring over Danekbadi Baptist Church at Daringbadi in which 35 believer families worship together.
On receiving the said information, GCIC Coordinator from Bhubaneswar immediately contacted the Sr. Police and District Authorities who have assured to release him by this evening without filing any case against him.
Let's praise the Lord for the said rescue of Pastor Sukadeba Digal.
