Islamic terrorists involved in Mumbai Massacre wanted separate state for Muslims-Government Counsel

Mumbai, Nov 19 - Pakistani terrorist Ajmal Kasab and his companions were instructed by their Lashkar-e-Taiba handlers on telephone to hold as many hostages as possible during the 26/11 terror attacks to demand from the Indian government the creation of a "separate state for Muslims".This was stated today by Government counsel Ujjwal Nikam to the Bombay High Court which is hearing confirmation of death sentence awarded to Kasab, who was captured alive after the terror attacks on the night of November 26-27, 2008.To fulfil the demands for a separate state for Muslims in India and liberation of Kashmir

LeT advised the terrorists on phone to take VIPs as hostages to compel the Government to act on them, Nikam told the court to justify Kasab's conviction on the charge of "Waging war against the nation"
