After submitting a petition to Chief Minister for safety of Christians in Orissa, Dr Sajan K George, president of the Global Council of Indian Christians(GCIC), visited Bhaliapara, the native village of Rabindra Parichha who was brutally murdered on 15th Dec at Bhanjanagar, today 18th December, early in the morning.Bhaliapara comes under Raikia,where Christian were brutally attacked in the year 2007 and 2008

When he reached the house of the deceased, his family members relatives and neighbours had already gathered there to begin preparation for "mada", a cleansing ritual accompanied with community meal. Sajan listened to brother and daughter of the deceased in detail regarding the death of Late Parichha. He also interacted with other people present there including wife, parents, sister of the deceased. Before going away from there he promised to do his best to get justice
