The Mysore Pastors association has organized a 15 day pastor’s training programme known as Shekina Spiritual training programme for the local pastors, Leaders and evangelist. The programme began on the 25th of August with about 50 people attending the meeting. This programme was organized in Ramabai Nagar, about 10 kms from the city of Mysore.

On 1st September, Mysore rural police station inspector Mr. Jagadish and SP Mr.Ramacubha reached the venue of the meeting and informed the organizers that the police have information that in this meeting, the pastors are being trained to convert people. They also termed the meeting as illegal as it is conducted without proper permission. The police forcefully stopped the meeting and asked the organizers to vacate the premise by 2nd September’10.
The meeting was called off because of the pressure from the police.
