The jailed BJP MLA from G Udayagiri Assembly constituency in Kandhamal, Manoj Pradhan was today granted bail by Orissa High Court.

The legislator was slapped a fine of Rs 15000 on two counts by the court.

Allowing the bail application of the petitioner, the Honourable High Court directed the legislator to deposit the fine amount in the lower court. The lower court was also asked to release the petitioner on bail after collecting the fine amount, said the legislators counsel P K Parhi

The Modern Day Martyrs of India

Christians of India are the 21st century blood martyrs and confessors of the faith and the inheritors of the persecuted church of the first 4 centuries of church history. Their witness to Christ in the face of virulent persecution by Hindu and Muslim fanatic mobs who, being assisted by the non intervention of complicit national and local government agencies, constitutes a vibrant witness, but of course indescribably sad, to the eternal truth of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord, Savior, and Redeemer.
