Thu, 01/11/2007 - 5:27pm Christian farmer attacked for his faith in Gujrat

Christian farmer was attacked in Ambapani village near Vansda in Gujarat on October 28, 2007.
The incident took place when Bharat bhai, a local farmer was returning back from his field along with his family. The radicals started to beat him up for his Christian faith and also threatened his family that they will be killed if they continued to go to church and follow Christianity.

Later, the radicals also went to the local church and threatened the pastor and his congregation that they would kill them if they continued to worship there.

Unfortunately the police seem to be on the side of the radicals so have not registered a complaint on behalf of the farmer. Mr. Bharat, therefore, has sent a report to the Human Rights Commission regarding the incident.

Please pray for justice to be done in this case and that the believers would remain strong in their faith.
