Karnataka, Pentecostal Christian accused of forced conversions.Dorairaj is 63 and resides in the village of Kollamogru-Kalmakaru. A group of about 20 people surrounded and searched. The Christian had already been indicted in the past. Perhaps it is targeted by the Hindus because it is a convert.

India(Karnataka):Between June and July 2000, three blasts at churches took place at Bengaluru, Hubbali and Kalaburgi in Karnataka.

Karnataka police yesterday said they have arretsed a key accused in the 2000 Karnataka serial Church blasts case.The accused, Sheikh Amir alias Amir Ali (36), was arrested from Nalgonda in Andhra Pradesh by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

Catholic priest’s body found hanging

Mysuru: A Catholic priest was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Wednesday in a parish of Mysore diocese.
The diocesan officials have rushed to PG Palaya, some 35 km from Mysore, where Fr Raja Kannu’s body was reportedly found hanging from a fan in the church premises.
The parish in in Charmrajnagar district of Karnataka state.The circumstances leading to his death are still unknown. The police are investigating the matter.A local Kannada TV channel has reported that as death occurred early morning on April 13.
