At about 4 pm on 6th Aug Bakhara Tahsildar and T.I.a from district administration visited village Pachpeedi (Dist. Dhamtari,Chattisgragh) and arrived at Rohit Sahu's house in whose compound Grace Church is situated. They said there are demands from villagers that this worship should be stopped and the Collector sent them for the same. They also warned that if there is anymore Christian worship held at Grace church there would be riots and Christians you will be responsible for the consequences .The government officials in effect illegally shut down the worship service in the Pachpeedi village They also compelled Rohit Sahu to sign the 'panchnama' and went away.  read more »
