Two persons held, bombs seized from burial ground connected with attack on Christian teacher

Kasargod (Kerala), Jul 17 - Two persons have been taken into custody in connection with the seizure of two country made bombs and a sword recovered from a burial ground in Kasargod district today.
On a tip off, the police raided the site at Thrikkarippur and found, some iron pipes allegedly meant for making bombs, they said, adding the explosives were defused by the bomb squad.

Police had been carrying out raids throughout the state in the wake of chopping off the right hand of a lecturer at Muvattupuzha on July 4, by activists belonging to a Muslim radical outfit, Popular Front of India.
