Persecution in Nepal

Ramdrass Kumar (Evangelist) has been attacked by anti-gospel elements inside Nepal. He serves the Lord along the border towns of India & Nepal the Lord at Narkatiyaganj, Bihar. He is in fellowship with the saints at Christian Brethren Assembly, Narkatiyaganj. He serves the Lord also in Nepal & is instrumental in forming an Assembly at Bandarjhula, Chitwan (Nepal) by the name Shalom Christian Mandali. Every Friday he goes to Nepal & conducts a Bible Study & stays overnight for the Saturday worship service (Nepali believers meet every Saturday for worship instead of Sundays).
On Friday, 28 May as usual he entered Nepal from the Indian side for conducting a Bible Study for the new believers & also conduct the worship on Saturday. On his way to Bandarjhula (Nepal), he was attacked & beaten by a group of men. They thrashed him severly & threatened to kill him if he continues with the gospel work. On the receipt of the attack one of the believers hid Ramdrass in his home.
On Saturday, 29 May, the group returned back and tried to ransack the Assembly gathering place of Shalom Christian Mandali. It seems they are unhappy because many from the lower segment of the society has become believers.
Ramdrass is unable to move out of his hideout in Nepal & needs to be in his Assembly at Narkatiyaganj (Bihar, India) for the Sunday worship service. Ramdrass have suffered severe injuries from the beatings.
In few weeks time SBS-Teachers Training program is scheduled in at Bandarjhula, Chitwan (Nepal) which is coordinated by Ramdrass Kumar.
Urgent prayers solicited for his protection & safe escape from his present hideout to his home in India. Please do pray for the safety of the believers residing in Nepal.
