Hinduvta extremists on June 5th assault Retired Indian Army Nepal Soldier in Aulo village in Myagdi district in western Nepal

Sher Bahadur Pun, a 68-year- and his son, Akka Bahadur Pun, were attacked by a mob during mass in Aulo village in Myagdi district in western Nepal.

Sher Bahadur Pun, a Hindu convert had embraced Christ while serving in the Army, recently he had politely declined to worship in a newly built village a temple, it appears that their refusal angered the extremists.

On June 5th Pun a local pastor and his son was ministering to believers when around 50 people barged in and asked the people to stop the service and when the Puns refused, they were assaulted severely. Pun fractured two ribs in the attack.

The church was closed and the Puns were compelled to leave the village. The father and son took shelter in Beni, the main town in the district.
