Christians protest Pakistan minister’s killing and obnoxious Blasphemy law

Christians of all denominations held a demonstration at the Indo-Pak international border in Attari, Punjab against the killing of a Pakistan minister for demanding the repeal of the controversial blasphemy law.During the demonstration held on March 6, the protesters also demanded scrapping of the blasphemy law prevalent in Pakistan.

“We will not give up this issue here,” said Church of North India Bishop P.K. Samantroy of Amritsar.He said they would discuss the matter with their partner organizations across the globe so that the same could be taken up with UNO.
Earlier,Global council of Indian Christians(GCIC) demanded United Nations Human Rights Commission(UNHRC) to suspend Pakistan from UN for gross violation of Huaman Rights.
Church of North India, Roman Catholic Chruch and Salvation Army took part in the protest .
