Bangalore : Bishop Bernard Moras termed Justice Somashekara Commission report as highly communal, propagandist. And also accused that this report deliberately absolves the persons and organizations responsible for attacks as mentioned in the Interim Report. Justice Somashekara Commission Final report-Church wise attacks-GCIC rejects the biased report

Global Council of Indian Christians (GCIC) has demanded that the Karnataka government reject Justice Somasekara Commission report which gave a clean chit to the state administration, BJP leaders and the Sangh Parivar in the attacks on churches in September 2008. GCIC has also demanded the publication of report submitted by the special investigation team of National Human Rights Commission on Karnataka Church Attack.

Christians murdered and persecuted in Middle East, but Obama silent

Thousands of Christians from Europe began a peaceful demonstration in Brussels on Saturday to protest the escalation of violence against Christians in Iraq and other nations in the Middle East. As if the United Nations' failure to address the persecution of Christians weren't bad enough, that international body's resolution called “Defamation of Religions” will lay the legal ground work for a country to legalize persecution of their citizens if they believe in a different religion than the state. Such a resolution would be of great assistance to Muslim, communist and socialist nations who view the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible impediments to their political or theological goals.  read more »

Muslim curch attackers challenge life term in south India
